We need a minimum of personal data so that we can send you the Soft Rainbow newsletter by email. 

What Data We Collect

When you subscribe, you give us your name and email address, which is stored by our provider: SendInBlue.  SendinBlue is an email address management and message sending service provided by SendinBlue SAS. Place of processing: France – Privacy Policy.

SendInBlue also collects data about your activity once you have received the email. This includes: your IP address, approximate location, your browser or email client type, whether you have opened the email and which links in the email you have clicked.

What We Do With Your Data

We use your personal data to send you the Soft Rainbow newsletter by email. We use SendInBlue to send these emails and subscription to our newsletter is done directly onto the SendInBlue database.

If you subscribe to the Soft Rainbow newsletter you will receive updates about my knitting projects, patterns, tests, useful informations about knitting. Recently I write a newsletter just occasionally. You can be informed about promotions, subscribers have often extra benefits. I might also want to ask you about something knitting related, ask for suggestions for improving my services, patterns.

The information that SendInBlue collects is used to help us analyse the relative success of a newsletter. For example, we would like to know what percentage of subscribers opened each newsletter and whether subscribers then looked at a particular pattern, or blog post. This helps me to decide how to promote future patterns and to decide on new blog post topics.

We do not pass your information to anyone else for any purpose with the following exceptions:

• Send In Blue in order to deliver our newsletters, and we check with them that the data is secure and used only for the stated purpose

• In case of newsletter provider change the database can be moved to the new provider.
